For my last trade idea, I held a position that would have 60x had I not closed it early. I was expecting the possibility of B sample delivery in mid 2024, and while I was wrong about that, Quantumscape did end up signing a new licensing deal during that same time period resulting in a spike of the share price.
The lesson I took away is that, while short expiration options offer the potential for explosive returns, I should also give myself more exposure to longer dated options to accommodate the uncertainty around event timing.
So with that, I opened a new position to set up for this summer.
